장인 어른 뵙던 날 - 내가 사진을 찍는 이유(When I met with my father in law - The reason why I keep taking photographs)

사람이 변해야 사진이 변한다.

 

내가 사진을 찍는 이유는 이런 순간을 기록으로 남겨두고 싶어서이다.

 

내가 아마추어 사진가로서 조그마한 자부심을 느낄 수 있다면,

 

그것은 내가 이런 순간을 사진으로 남길 생각을 했다는 사실 때문일 것이다.

 

내 사진폴더엔 이런 사진이 있어 내가 사진으로 뭔가 의미있는 일을 하고 있다는 안도감을 느낀다.

 

나에게 카메라는 이런 순간을 놓치지 않기 위한 도구일 뿐이지 그 목적이 될 수 없다.

 

내가 이미지언어의 문법으로서 사진테크닉을 연마한다면, 이런 순간을 좀 더 생생하게 담아내고 전달하기 위함이다.

 

Your phography can be changed to great extent by not equipment, but youself.

The reason why I keep taking photograph is to record these moments below.

If I can have a piece of self-esteem, it comes from the fact that I am such a person who is keen not to miss these irreversible moments,

and I consider these as highly valuable objects for photography.

There is certainly a sigh of relief in my mind thanks to these photos in my computer.

In my case, my camera is an instrument to caputure these scenes.

If I am immerged to learn photographical techniques as a grammar of an image language, the purpose would then be to take and deliver these moments vividly.
